Just a quick update with a new favourite I've just received. A triple date from the late 1940s based on the Valjoux 78 movement.
Advertised as for spares or repairs it runs perfectly and all the date functions work correctly.
I'm very pleased!
What a beautiful watch I would imagine your very pleased with that. I have a Helvetia 837 1952 according to serial number lookup table, this is working fine now with a couple of new parts, I also have an Elco (1954) also an 837 movement which I got for parts, trouble is it is very attractive itself so now looking for more parts 🙄
